Charbel Cheaib

Charbel Cheaib joined Trez Capital in 2025 as Managing Director, Institutional Sales, where he focuses on leading our institutional initiatives, capital raising and engaging our existing Institutional client base with exceptional client service.

Charbel brings over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, with a strong track record across Institutional Sales and Real Estate investments. He began his career as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, where he consulted for global financial institutions, asset managers and investment funds. He was recognized as a top business developer during his nearly 10-year tenure at CIBC Mellon, working with pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and foundations. He later joined BlackRock and was responsible for overseeing relationships with institutional investors, reviewing investment portfolios, recommending suitable private equity, private credit, and real estate investments, and working closely with some of Canada’s largest pension plans. Most recently, Charbel lent his expertise within real estate equity and debt, leading growth and cultivating investor relationships for Clifton Blake.

Charbel holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Management and Economics from the University of Toronto. He is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Association of Ontario.
