Mike Fortier

Managing Director, Canadian Origination

Mike Fortier is exclusively focused on sourcing, underwriting and negotiating new mortgage transactions across Canada with a primary focus on British Columbia and Ontario. Since joining Trez Capital in 2005, Mike has made key contributions in loan origination, underwriting, account management and funding. He most recently contributed as Manager of Underwriting until 2013, when he completed the transition into full time loan origination. He has experience in a variety of roles in hundreds of mortgage transactions.

Mike has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of British Columbia, where he majored in real estate.
